Day 01 Yangon- Mawlamyine (by private AC car) ( - /- /- )
Pick you up from your hotel in Yangon or airport and drive to Mawlamyine (299 Km, 5h 30m) and then transfer to your hotel.
Stay overnight in Mawlamyine.
Day 02 Mawlamyine city tour ( by private AC car) ( - /- /- )
After breakfast, start your city tour by visiting the local market and trying some of delicious Mawlamyine food. Then take a short ride trishaw ride (Burmese cyclo) to get to the old well-maintained Kalyani Sima( Ordination Hall), one of the holy religious sites in Mawlamyine.
In the afternoon, go to some of the old colonial buildings such as St. Matthew Church and the First Baptist Church located on the upper main road of the city. The latter one is founded in 1827 by Adoniram Judson (the first American Missionary arrived in Myanmar).
Next, drive along Mawlamyine mountain ridge to visit Sein Done Mipaya monastery, an old wooden monastery donated by Queen Sein Done, the beloved queen of King Mindon in Mandalay.Watch the sunset at famous Kyaikthalyan Paya (old Kipling pagoda) at a hill overlooking the city.
Then transfer to your hotel. Stay overnight in Mawlamyine.
Day 03 Mawlamyine – Ye ( by private AC car) ( - /- /- )
Meet our guide and drive at Mawlamyine airport or your hotel in Mawlamyine and then drive to the outskirt of the city to visit Proceed to Win Sein Taw Ya, a big reclining Buddha images built on the hill slope.
Then head to Thanpyuzayat, the small town in the south of Mawlamyine. It was the western terminus of infamous 415 km long Burma-Siam railway, dubbed the death railway by the thousands of Allied prisoners of war and Asians who were forced to build it by the Japanese Imperial army in 1943.
Next, drive to Yele Paya, a famous Buddhist shrine complex peaching on the rocks by the sea and connected with the mainland by a covered causeway.
Before arrival to Ye, we will stop at Banana Mountain overlooking the whole Ye valley.
Then transfer to your hotel and stay overnight in Ye.
Day 04 Ye - Dawei ( by private AC car) ( B/- /- )
After hotel checks out, head to Kyaung Ywa, Mon and Kayin village of wooden stilt houses perched over the Ye River along a road that winds through betel nut, rubber and pineapple plantations. Then get a longtail boat and head to go Kyaing Lakoiw Paya.
After returning by boat trip, leave for Dawei (169 Km, about 4 hours’ drive). As you get outside of the city, you will soon start to ride over a stunning mountain range dividing the Tanintharyi Division and the Mon State. On arrival in Dawei, transferred to your hotel.

Day 05 Dawei City Tour. (By private AC car) ( B/- /- )
After breakfast, explore the old colonial town of Dawei with a rich legacy of colonial-era buildings, old merchant houses, and stucco mansions. Stop at Dawei’s Paya Gyi museum and Shwe Taung Sar pagoda.
Drive to Myaw Yit Pagoda, connected by a bridge with the mainland. Afterward, we are going for a swim or stroll along San Maria Beach.
In the late afternoon, enjoy the relaxed and uncrowned beach atmosphere of well-known Maung Ma Gan (except holidays). Return to your hotel. Stay overnight in Dawei.
Day 06 Dawei –Myeik (by private car) (B/- /- )
After checking out from your hotel, set off on the 250 km journey south from Dawei to Myeik (5 hours’ drive). Formerly off-limits to foreigners for overland travel, the route passes subsistence ethnic minority villages, fields and plantations of coconut, betel nut, cashew, and rubber. On arrival in Myeik, transfer to your hotel for check out.
Stay overnight in Myeik.
Day 07 Myeik City - Dome Island (by chartered wooden boat) ( B /L /D )
In the morning, get picked up from your hotel and then transfer to the Seik Nge pier for your island hopping trip on Myeik Archipelago.
Cruise towards Dome Island. On the way, you will see some mangrove trees and shorebirds, as you pass through small water passage among the islands. Stop at Dome waterfall for having a refreshing bath by climbing up to a higher level of the waterfall.
Lunch will be served on board while cruising.
Then continue to Dome Nyaung Mine Village where Sea Gypsies or Moken people are living. This small ethnic group usually spent most of their time in the sea. Head to the North West Shore of Dome Island where there is our campsite located. After resting for a while, you can go swimming and snorkeling around the beach.
Stay overnight on board, or you can stay in a temporary tent at the beach if you love to do it.
Day 08 Dome Island - Smart (Par Pant) Island - Myeik (by chartered wooden boat) ( B / L/ -)
After breakfast, we will start jungle trekking and hiking on the Island. Go along a small stream full of stone till you reach to the top of the mountain that offers a breathtaking view of the sea. Then return to the base camp.
Cruise towards Smart Island. Go for a snorkel in clear and calm water to have a look for an underwater world. Take a short walk to get a beach full of pale blue color gravel stone of different size.
Lunch will serve on board.
Enjoy the sunset on the boat on your return trip to Myeik. And then transfer to your hotel.
Stay overnight in Myeik.
DAY 09: Myeik to Kawthaung ( by domestic flight) (B/-/-)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your trip to Kawthaung. On arrival at the airport, you will meet by our driver and start your city tour with visiting Mali Wan Waterfall and then continue to the famous King Bayinnaung statue. Nearby Victoria Point, the most Southern Part of Myanmar, gives an excellent opportunity for taking pictures.
Watch sunset of the day at 5-5-5 Mountain that offers a spectacular view over the whole town and nearby islands.
Stay overnight in Kawthaung.
DAY 10: Departure (B/-/-)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the return flight to Yangon OR take a ferry boat to Ranong (Thailand border town) for your continue trip to Bangkok.
Please NOTE that there must be at least two people to organize this tour and program for Myeik island trip may change due to weather and tide conditions of the sea.
